Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist to greet clients, answer phones, and connect them with the right tax professional. You will help schedule appointments and ensure a positive client experience across in-person, phone, or virtual interactions.

The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and stays organized while delivering friendly service. Flexible schedule and/or multiple locations may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner
• Match clients with the best-suited tax professional for their needs
• Schedule clients how they would like to be scheduled
• Help to ensure all clients needs have been met during service both in person, over the phone or virtually
• Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members
• Other duties as assigned
