Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist to warmly greet clients, answer phones, and connect customers with the right tax professional. You’ll help schedule appointments, manage inquiries, and contribute to a smooth, inviting client experience across locations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and a professional appearance. Prior customer service experience and computer skills are preferred to support daily operations.

• Experience in fast-paced customer service environments.
• Ability to multitask across calls, in-person, and scheduling.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly manner.
• Match clients with the best-suited tax professional for their needs.
• Schedule clients according to preferences.
• Ensure client needs are met in person, over the phone, or virtually.
• Maintain office cleanliness and organization with the team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Expertise

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a customer service environment
