Schwartz Mazda is seeking a professional and presentable receptionist for an evening shift from 3-8 PM, with weekend coverage. The role is the face of the dealership, handling customer interactions in person or over the phone and contributing to a positive first impression.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a cheerful greeting.
• Operate switchboard telephone system.
• Provide basic information to callers and take messages as needed.
• Serve as cashier and process payments.
• Assist the General Manager with clerical tasks as needed.
• Maintain professional, friendly demeanor with customers and staff.
• Handle customer questions and resolve issues with poise.

We are looking for a professional and presentable receptionist to be the face of our dealership! This is an evening position from 3-8 as well as weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• NO TWO DAYS WILL EVER BE THE SAME.
• IT IS VERY FAST PACED WITH LOTS OF ADMINISTRATIVE WORK FOR SLOW DAYS
• Greet every Customer with a cheeful greeting
• Operate switchboard telephone system
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Provide basic information to callers who have general inquires
• Prepare sales gas tickets for the accounting department
• Serve as a cashier
• Assist the General Manager with various clerical duties as needed
• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
• Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered by the dealership and any changes in price.
• Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customer to the appropriate individual for further communication.
• Be the eyes and ears on the floor for the sales manager while running the up system.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors and employees while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
