Job summary

Drybar Shops is seeking a receptionist in Henderson, NV to manage bookings and front-desk responsibilities. The role focuses on delivering warm customer service, maintaining accurate reservation records, and promoting a positive, party-like shop atmosphere.

Key duties include maximizing appointments, handling payments with care, and supporting stylists while keeping the shop organized and clean. Minimum 1 year in a fast-paced role and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in fast-paced, customer service environment.
• POS systems experience strongly preferred.
• Salon/spa experience preferred but not required.
• Promote a professional, brand-appropriate image.
• Organize and execute shop flow between clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert in reservation system and record client information accurately.
• Maximize appointments with the reservation system and communicate with the team.
• Balance cash drawer and handle payments and stylist tips/commissions with integrity.
• Maintain clear communication with shop management about operations.
• Assist with shop cleanliness and support stylists to improve efficiency.

We are looking for a receptionist who has:

• 1+years in a fast-paced, customer service environment
• Previous experience with point-of-sale systems strongly preferred. Previous salon/spa experience preferred; not required.
• Promote a professional and brand-appropriate image. Set the tone of a positive shop atmosphere by approaching the day as if hosting a party!
• Organize and execute shop flow between clients and team members in a positive manner.
• Serve as subject matter expert in reservation system; ensure client information is recorded with accuracy and timeliness.
• Optimize and maximize appointments with reservation system and ensure timely communication to team.
• Maintain highest degree of ethics when handling client payments and Stylists tips/commissions. Balance cash drawer at opening, close and shift changes.
• Maintain clear communication with shop management about overall shop operations.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, is a self-starter and excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task with ease.
• Assist with the cleanliness of the shop; be proactive in ensuring the utmost care. Assist stylists with their needs to improve efficiency.
• Highschool Diploma required.
