What You’ll Be Doing As a Receptionist
- Providing timely and professional responses to phone calls and emails.
- Welcoming tenants and new applicants and guiding them through the application process.
- Distributing application materials, conducting interviews, and performing background and credit checks.
- Managing leasing tasks such as lease signings, preparing financial statements and invoices, and performing other administrative duties.
- Greeting residents and visitors and providing the highest standard of customer service.
- Scheduling appointments and completing follow-up on service requests.
- Filing documents, reports, and maintaining filing systems as requested.
- Providing general administrative support to the office.
- Handling miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned.
Compensation
- $17 - $18 / hour
- With an annual bonus tied to performance.
This range is a general guideline and may vary depending on qualifications, location, and specific responsibilities. The position may also include performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Final offers will be based on a thorough assessment of the candidate's background and role requirements.
Qualifications
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the affordable housing industry (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual Spanish is required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A proven track record of managing complex operational tasks.
- Highly motivated and a self-starter attitude.
