Focus People is seeking an experienced, polished, and customer-focused Receptionist / Administrative Support professional for a well-established public-sector organization in the Pooler, Ellabell, and Pembroke area.
This is more than a traditional front-desk position. The role combines reception, administrative support, meeting and facility coordination, customer service, and support for senior leadership.
Our client is looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in representing an organization professionally, and is equally comfortable greeting visitors and handling detailed administrative responsibilities behind the scenes.
This position will begin as a temporary assignment, with the potential for the successful employee to pursue a future permanent opportunity with the organization. Permanent employment is not guaranteed and would depend on performance, organizational needs, and the client’s formal hiring process.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates with:
This position supports several nearby facilities in the Pooler, Ellabell, and Pembroke areas.
The employee will normally report to one location for the entire workday and may remain at that same location for an extended period. However, staffing or business needs may occasionally require reporting to one of the other nearby locations on a different day.
Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to report to all three geographic areas as needed.
This is not a driving position, and routine travel between facilities throughout the workday is not expected.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be more than “the person at the front desk.”
You will play an important role in creating a strong first impression while also helping leadership and the broader team keep day-to-day operations organized and running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is someone who is:
