Job Description

Spectrum Marketing is looking for our next contributor! At Spectrum Marketing Companies, you’ll be part of a dynamic workforce on the cutting-edge of the direct marketing industry. The successful candidate will function as a receptionist at the company’s main entrance and provide basic administrative, support, and research functions.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Answering incoming calls on our multi-line phone system in a professional and timely manner.
  2. Transferring calls efficiently to appropriate individuals and departments.
  3. Creating a welcoming reception environment with friendly greetings for visitors.
  4. Announcing visitors to appropriate personnel.
  5. Performing basic research functions and order entry to support customer service.
  6. Providing various other administrative support functions as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant with a multi-line phone system (1-2 years preferred).
  • Exceptional verbal customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn about the company to handle calls and visitors effectively.
  • Proficiency with web resources and online tools like LinkedIn, Google.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and office communication software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM or data entry is a plus.
  • Comfort in using the telephone for information gathering and confirmation.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged sitting and screen time.
  • Fine motor skills for manipulating phone, keyboard, and documents.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
