Due to rapid firm growth and an expanding client family, we are seeking a dedicated, polished, and welcoming Full-Time Receptionist to serve as the face and voice of our practice.
Position Overview
As our first point of contact, the Receptionist plays a critical role in setting a positive, professional tone for our clients, guests, and professional partners. We are expanding our team to help keep up with our increasing number of clients while maintaining the high standard of personalized service Cordell Wealth Management is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Greeting & Hospitality: Warmly welcome clients and guests upon arrival, offer refreshments, and ensure a pristine, professional reception environment.
- Phone & Call Management: Answer, screen, and route incoming multi-line calls promptly and professionally, taking accurate messages as needed.
- Meeting Preparation: Prepare conference rooms for upcoming client meetings (refreshments, setup, materials) and reset rooms promptly after meetings conclude.
- Mail & Package Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, client documents, and deliveries securely and confidentially.
- Administrative Support: Assist office staff and wealth advisors with document scanning, client mailings, filing, supply management, and light administrative projects.
Qualifications & Key Attributes
- Experience: 1–3+ years of front desk, customer service, or administrative experience (experience in wealth management, financial, or legal services is a plus).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an articulate, courteous demeanor.
- Client-First Mindset: High emotional intelligence, empathy, and a strong passion for delivering a high-touch client experience.
- Discretion: Absolute respect for client privacy and confidentiality in financial matters.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable navigating multi-line phone systems.
Organizational Skills: Punctual, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and growing environment
