Job summary

CarePlus NJ, Inc. seeks an entry-level Receptionist for the Outpatient Department in New Jersey. You will provide administrative support, adjust therapist and prescriber schedules, handle client communications, admissions, and consent forms to ensure quality services.

You will verify insurances and gain experience in behavioral health services. The role is on-site, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with benefits including health/dental, vacation, tuition reimbursement, 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and promptly assist visitors, clients, employees, salespersons and the public in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer phones courteously, record messages accurately, and schedule meetings.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for clients and prescribers, assure appointments are properly recorded and make reminder calls to clients
• Retrieve and route faxes daily
• Perform switchboard duties as required, forward calls to appropriate staff or department, answer questions about agency and provide callers with address, directions, and other information
• Verify insurance, obtain consent forms from clients, and re-enroll clients to admissions.
• Adjust for scheduling conflicts and schedule lunches.

Job Summary

As a Receptionist for the Outpatient Department, you will provide administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient administrative operations. In this entry level role, you will adjust the schedules of therapists and prescribers, handle client communication, appointments, admissions, and consent forms to provide quality services to our clients. You will also assist in verifying insurances and gain experience working in a behavioral health setting with a diverse range of individuals with various mental and behavioral health challenges.
