Job summary

Mathis Home—Irvine is seeking a full-time, on-site receptionist to greet visitors, answer and route calls, and provide information about departments and services. You will log employees for shifts, assist in mail delivery, and coordinate transport as needed.

Description

Pay: $16.90-$23.37

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED : Operate telephone to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information and taking messages; greet visitors entering establishment with a smile, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations; provide information about establishment such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided; deliver mail to correct departments; arrange transportation service; track merchandise leaving the store; log sales associates in and out for daily shifts; log call customers for sales associates; acts as a role model of the store; professional in appearance, and maintain a constant positive attitude; keep store count for customers entering; perform any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; Demonstrates a constant positive customer service attitude; ability to handle pressure; knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 10 lbs occasionally.
