Job summary

Flower Mound Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center ER is seeking a Receptionist to be the Director of First Impressions at our on-site Flower Mound, TX hospital. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, and help ensure smooth operations while upholding compassionate care standards.

You will coordinate medical records, appointments, and payments, educate clients about preventive care, and provide empathetic support to clients and their pets.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service orientation and love for animals.
• Excellent communication and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset and ability to work independently.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; flexibility to work some weekends/holidays.

• Be the Director of First Impressions: You'll manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: You'll maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions, keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
• Advocate for Pet Health: You'll be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: You'll be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.
