Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a courteous and dedicated Receptionist to join our Denver-area veterinary network. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with professionalism, and help coordinate appointments and financial transactions to ensure smooth clinic operations.

You will play a key role in pet wellness, educating clients on preventive care and available services while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, and reflect compassionate care in every interaction.
• Coordinate care: maintain medical records, manage appointments, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly.
• Advocate for pet health: educate clients on preventative care and other services to ensure optimal patient care.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism, serving as a calming presence for clients and treating each pet with care.

• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: You'll maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions, keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
• Advocate for Pet Health: You'll be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: You'll be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
• Able to work 8AM-6PM and have Saturday availability.
