Job summary

Drybar in Cranston, RI is seeking a customer-focused Sales Associate to deliver excellent service and drive membership and product sales. You will operate the POS, assist clients at the front desk, and contribute to a fast-paced retail salon environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in customer service, familiarity with POS systems, and a strong commitment to high-quality customer experiences. Training is provided to help you grow in a structured career path.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer service centric environment.
• Strong preference for experience with POS systems.

Overview

Drybar is a blow dry-only bar and our philosophy is simple. Focus on one thing and be the best at it. For us that’s blowouts. In fact, our tagline says it all: No cuts. No color. Just blowouts. We are looking for fantastic retail sales associates to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Hours:

Monday: 8am-3pm

Tuesday: 8am-1pm

Wednesday: 8am-5pm

Thursday: 7am-5pm

Friday: 10am-5pm

Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

• 1+ years’ experience in a fast paced, customer service centric environment (sales associate, retail sales associate, customer service representative, store associate, salon associate, or a similar position)
• Previous experience with Point of Sale Systems strongly preferred
• Previous salon/spa experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work at a sustained, fast pace
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Track record in providing over-the-top, amazing customer service!
• Ability to multitask with ease
• Frequently required to stand and/or walk for duration of 6-8 hour long shifts
• Has the technical ability and skills to operate a point of sale system
• Problem solver – use logic and support resources to solve problems at the front desk
• Maintains professional demeanour under pressure
