Job summary

Millwood Hospital in Arlington, TX, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a PRN Evening Receptionist to greet visitors, answer the switchboard, and handle mail and clerical tasks.

You will support new admissions paperwork after-hours and maintain the receptionist schedule, with a requirement of two years on a multi-line phone system, preferably in healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years' experience on a multi-line phone system, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• May be required to work occasional overtime, weekends and/or flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all visitors.
• Answer the switchboard and document incoming deliveries.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and provide clerical support.
• Assist with completing appropriate paperwork for new admissions during after-hours shifts as assigned.
• Maintain the Receptionist schedule and serve as back-up as needed.

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering the switchboard, documenting incoming deliveries, processing incoming and outgoing mail and providing clerical support as requested. In addition, the Receptionist handles various clerical duties and projects as assigned and may assist with completing appropriate paperwork for new admissions during after-hours shifts if assigned as well as maintain the Receptionist schedule and serve as back up as needed.

Work Hours

PRN Evening Hours, Monday - Friday (3:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.)
