CHC Addiction Services in Akron, OH, is seeking a receptionist at our 725 location to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will greet patients, check in, answer phones, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect payments, and support clinical staff to keep the office running smoothly.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in a medical office, familiarity with EHR, and strong communication.

We are currently looking for a Receptionist for our 725 location. This role is the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our facility. This role involves managing front-desk operations, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and performing general administrative tasks to support clinical staff and ensure smooth office operations. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:00pm.
High school diploma or GED required; additional administrative training is a plus. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare office preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems; Credible etc. Basic understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes. Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
