CHC is a non‑profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.

We are currently looking for a full time Medical Assistant. Position will not exceed, but will require 40 hours, Monday through Friday, 5:30am and 1:30pm.

Duties include:

• Rooming
• Urine Drug Screens
• Scheduling
• Clerical Duties
• Other medical office tasks as requested by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• Training of the collection process will be provided; previous experience in handling specimen samples highly preferred.
• Professional attitude, excellent customer service skills and willingness to be trained.
• Excellent eye for detail, strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Ability to complete documentation both on the computer and by hand.
• CPR certification required.
