Job summary

Restaurant Associates, part of Compass Group USA, seeks a Reception Services Manager to oversee the daily operations of the reception team at a premier New York City corporate dining account. The role ensures guests, clients, and associates receive polished, high-touch service aligned with luxury hospitality standards, reporting to the Director of Reception Services.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with flexibility for extended hours, overtime, and coverage for events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in hospitality, receptionist or customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead, manage and inspire others; exudes teamwork and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the reception team and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Assist with client support including answering calls, welcoming guests and preparing meeting rooms.
• Manage conference room reservations and EMS data; coordinate with internal departments and external service providers.
• Prepare weekly receptionist schedules and payroll processing support.
• Monitor supplies, badge printing and event coverage, including after-hours events as needed.
