Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking a warehouse receiver to accurately receive, stock, and prepare products for shipment to customers. The role involves dock freight handling, RF scanning, and operating equipment like forklifts and order pickers.

Salary ranges from $20–$21 per hour depending on equipment experience; full-time benefits include paid time off, 401(k) with company match, disability coverage, life insurance for family, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred
• Detail oriented
• Recent experience operating a forklift
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic

Responsibilities

• Organizing and transporting freight on the dock, include loading and unloading trailers without damaging products. LTL
• Receive large boxes on warehouse dock. UPS/FedEx
• Scan all product with RF scanner, and input product information into computer.
• Break down cases of product and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse
• Scanning and toting pallet for put away.
• Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
• Equipment in the facility includes: Order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
• Could be crossed training in multiple areas of the warehouse including Inbound, Outbound, Wire, and Pipe/Conduit.
