Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator - Receiving for our Claremont, NC distribution operations. The role involves receiving products, unloading vendor shipments, and locating fabric items using RF scanners.

Candidates should be able to read packing lists, follow procedures, and work in a dynamic warehouse environment. Ideal applicants will have at least 1 year in Receiving, forklift certifications, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Receiving department.
• Knowledge of distribution computer systems (WMS & OMS).
• Computer and Microsoft Office experience.
• Standard warehouse operation experience.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Forklift experience and certification, Turret, Order Picker, Sit Down, Reach.
• Good vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Good communication skills - oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Receive product and verify product from a packing list.
• Unload Vendor trucks and containers.
• Read and identify numbers on the fabric rolls.
• Flexibly perform assignments on the Receiving Dock.
• Work with RF scanners to locate fabric.
• Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet delivery requirements.
• Teamwork is essential.
