Job summary

Viking Electric, a part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler - Receiving in Minneapolis, MN. This full-time role operates 6:00am–2:00pm, Monday–Friday, with pay between $21.00 and $26.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will load/unload trucks, scan items, assemble and palletize shipments, and help keep the warehouse safe and efficient in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs with assistance).
• Standing and walking through shift.
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanning devices.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/materials safely with equipment provided (training offered).
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Use handheld device to scan barcodes and labels for inventory tracking.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Keep products organized and damage-free; follow safety procedures.
