Job summary

Viking Electric in Rochester, MN is seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Material Handler to support inventory, shipping and receiving operations. This role is part of the Sonepar family and offers a structured environment with training and safety first practices.

You will load/unload, count items, scan barcodes, assemble and route materials for delivery while maintaining accuracy and organization in a fast-paced setting. Seasonal through December with daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, 75 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for much of the shift.
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanner operations.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material using equipment; training provided.
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Use handheld scanner to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack and route material for delivery or storage.
• Keep products organized and free from damage; maintain safety procedures.
