Job summary

Ollie’s is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area, ensure accurate freight flow, and maintain back stock to minimize profit loss. You will lead teammates, verify shipments, and support visual merchandising standards.

Role requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months retail experience, with flexible scheduling for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage freight flow in the receiving area and keep dock/ exterior safe and orderly.
• Adhere to standards, confirm accuracy of incoming merchandise, and design displays.
• Prepare and process outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as needed.
• Direct the work of associates assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle assigned opening/closing duties.
