Job summary

Ollie’s is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area, ensuring efficient freight flow, accurate inbound processing, and proper merchandising. You will manage back stock, handle damaged goods disposition, and support window-to-floor transfers to maximize sales opportunities.

This role requires leadership of the receiving team, adherence to safety and merchandising standards, and flexibility to cover early shifts, weekends, and peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks within strict timeframes and deadlines.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments of merchandise.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Direct the work of other Associates who are assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and complete any additional responsibilities as assigned including opening and closing of the store.
