Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area, ensure smooth freight flow to the sales floor, and maintain back stock. Responsibilities include directing freight, verifying receipts, setting up displays, and guiding associates while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma, 6 months retail experience, flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate tasks under tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude and strong customer/associate interaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage freight flow in the receiving area and maintain dock safety and order.
• Ensure accuracy of incoming merchandise and design displays.
• Prepare outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures.
• Direct associates assisting with freight flow and act as Manager on Duty when assigned.

Education
