Job summary

Ollie’s Florence is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to manage the receiving area and ensure efficient freight flow to the sales floor in accordance with the store's receiving area plan.

The role includes maintaining back stock, supervising associates, and ensuring accurate merchandise processing. A high school diploma and at least 6 months of retail experience are required, with a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments of merchandise.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining equipment and a safe, orderly dock and exterior.
• Adhere to company standards confirm the accuracy of all incoming merchandise and set up and design merchandise displays.
• Prepare and process outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as required.
• Direct the work of other Associates who are assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and complete any additional responsibilities as assigned including opening and closing of the store.
