Job summary

Ollie’s is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area operations, ensuring efficient freight flow to the sales floor and accurate merchandising in line with standards. The role includes back stock management and disposition of damaged goods to minimize profit loss.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of retailer experience. Schedule flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is needed, with opportunities to lead

Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience with mid- to large-size retailer.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate tasks within tight timeframes.
• Positive attitude with strong customer and associate interaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage freight flow in the receiving area and maintain a safe, orderly dock.
• Direct the work of Associates and assist with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store opening/closing as assigned.
