Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. in Florence, SC, seeks an experienced Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area and ensure efficient freight flow to the sales floor. You will maintain back stock, manage damaged goods, and support merchandising standards.

Responsibilities include directing associates, verifying shipments, and acting as Manager on Duty as needed. The role requires flexibility to meet store needs and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate tasks with tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude and strong customer and associate interaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in and support merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage freight flow in receiving while keeping dock safe and orderly.
• Ensure accuracy of incoming merchandise and assist with displays.
• Prepare outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as required.
• Direct work of other associates assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and perform store-opening/closing duties as assigned.
