Job summary

Peli BioThermal is seeking a Receiving Specialist to join our team in South Deerfield, MA. This hands‑on role focuses on receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, maintaining ERP records, cycle counts, and coordinating with Purchasing and Shipping/Receiving to resolve discrepancies. Must be detail‑oriented and capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, with overtime flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of receiving, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience.
• Experience operating sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts.
• Ability to pass forklift certification.
• Basic computer skills with Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips and delivery documents.
• Verify product quantities, counts, weights, and shipment documentation for accuracy.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
• Enter receiving transactions into the ERP system and maintain accurate electronic records.
• Scan and maintain receiving documentation for electronic filing.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Accounting, Shipping/Receiving to resolve discrepancies.
• Process returned materials and notify departments of RMA activity.
• Receive and process Stock Transfer Orders (STOs).
• Coordinate movement of materials to/from outside vendors.
• Assist with material handling and moving inventory throughout the facility.
• Train Material Handlers on receiving procedures.
