Job summary

PI (Physik Instrumente), LP in Shrewsbury, MA is hiring a Receiving Coordinator for its logistics team. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with a 90-day path to permanent employment based on performance and attendance.

You will receive, inspect, and verify shipments, maintain ERP records, and coordinate with procurement and quality teams to resolve issues while ensuring accurate receiving reports and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years in warehouse/shipping/receiving or inventory control.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work activities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of materials, products and equipment.
• Match packing slips and delivery notes with purchase orders; report discrepancies or damages.
• Coordinate with procurement and quality control for non-conformances or rejections.
• Maintain accurate records of received materials using Infor ERP.
• Communicate with vendors and carriers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
• Prepare receiving reports and assist in inventory cycle counts or audits.
• Support warehouse organization, material flow, and safety initiatives in line with 5S/ISO 9001.
