Job summary

Rural King in Marion, OH is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for sale, and ensure accurate stocking and merchandising. You will follow SOPs for receiving, document receipts, and support display setup across departments.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in receiving, comfort with computer systems, and the ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of accuracy and quality work.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems to assist customers or manage tasks.
• Able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments, and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Set up displays and stock shelves.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and merchandising apparel.
• Process purchase orders and document receipts with scan guns.
• Monitor shortages and report discrepancies daily to management.
• Maintain receiving records and inventory accuracy.
• Assist in store-to-store transfers and UPS shipments.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
