Job summary

Rural King in Winchester, KY is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise, set up displays, and ensure in-stock, accurately merchandised apparel. You’ll follow SOPs, maintain records, and support store-to-store transfers and UPS shipments while upholding safety and organization.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of receiving experience, thrive in a fast-paced team environment, and are comfortable using scan guns and computer systems.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible.
• Proven track record of accurate work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems to assist with tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments; prepare merchandise for storage or sale.
• Set up displays and ensure items are in stock and properly merchandised.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and apparel merchandising; maintain stock levels.
• Recordkeeping of receiving paperwork and daily notes.
• Coordinate store-to-store transfers and UPS shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and price labeling per SOP.
