Job summary

Rural King is hiring a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare items for display, and ensure accurate stock levels across the store. You’ll follow SOPs for receiving and merchandising, maintaining organized records and supporting transfers and distribution.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of receiving experience, can work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate reliability with computer systems and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stay flexible, proactive and efficient.
• Proven track record of error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and prepare for storage or movement to sales area.
• Ensure merchandise is easy to reach, in stock, and properly displayed.
• Follow SOPs for apparel receiving and merchandising.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.
• Support inventory management on sales floors during busy periods.
• Assist with store-to-store transfers, shipping, and receiving.
