Job summary

Rural King in Benton, IL is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for the sales floor, and ensure accurate stock levels. You will follow SOPs for apparel receiving, set up displays, and maintain safe, organized stores in a fast-paced environment.

You will use scan guns and computer-based software to document receipts, manage transfers, and assist with inventory on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and organize for storage or sales.
• Maintain stock levels and accurate merchandising.
• Use scan guns and software for receiving documentation.
• Handle store-to-store transfers and UPS transfers.
• Assist with inventory management on the sales floor.
