Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for storage and display, and ensure products are in stock and accurately merchandised. You will follow SOPs for apparel receiving, manage inventory records, and help with store-to-store transfers and transfers to the sales floor.

The role relies on accurate receipt documentation via scan guns and computer systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible and efficient.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfort navigating computer systems to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for storage or sale, and set up displays.
• Use scan guns and software to document receipts accurately.
• Monitor shortages and report discrepancies daily to maintain stock levels.
• Maintain organized records of receiving paperwork and ensure proper tagging.
