Job summary

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Receiving Operator at Buick Resource Recycling Division in Boss, MO to unload, sort, and process material with 12-hour rotating shifts. Training and career growth opportunities are provided alongside day-one insurance and a 5% targeted monthly bonus.

80 hours of vacation accrue after 90 days. Responsibilities include identifying feed material, operating equipment to handle batteries and feed, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Forklift & other mobile equipment qualification.
• Environmental safety and health rules and regulations training.
• Experience operating mobile equipment and machinery.
• Background in industrial operations or similar work experience.
• Working knowledge of material identification.

Responsibilities

• Identify feed material at the receiving and cable docks and verify against shipping documents.
• Operate equipment to unload, store, sort, and process batteries and feed material.
• Operate drum shredder, pallet shredder, and glass shredder as needed.
• Move material to proper locations following loading and storage procedures.
• Complete paperwork for identifying, weighing, and labeling material.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe; report unsafe acts.
