Job summary

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain equipment and ensure process safety at our Buick Resource Recycling Division in Boss, MO. Starting pay is $26.04/hour with a 5% targeted monthly bonus and benefits start day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Must pass the aptitude test and enter the Doe Run Company maintenance training program.
• If no high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an industrial maintenance course or auto technology course, and one year of auto repair experience or industrial maintenance experience.
• If no technical training, a minimum of two years of technical experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Work with Level II and III Maintenance personnel to provide effective, timely, and efficient repair and maintenance service.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and the modification of existing equipment.
• Assist in plant upgrades to improve production and efficiency of the plant.
• Manage storage area, shipments, and relocation of waste containers from Satellite Accumulation Areas to Hazardous Waste Storage Areas.
• Weekly Hazardous Waste inspections.
• Follow EHS policies, procedures, and best practices; support and assist peers in safe, compliant work; report unsafe acts or conditions and deviations; support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
