Job summary

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain equipment and ensure process safety while minimizing downtime. This day shift role is based at Buick Resource Recycling Division in Boss, Missouri.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, support plant upgrades, and work with Level II/III staff to keep operations efficient. The position offers on-the-job training and room for career growth in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass aptitude test and enter maintenance training.
• Industrial maintenance or auto tech course with 1 year related experience, if no diploma.
• If no technical training, at least two years of technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with Level II/III maintenance staff for timely service.
• Assist in installing or modifying equipment.
• Assist plant upgrades to improve production efficiency.
• Manage storage, shipments, and relocation of waste containers.
• Conduct weekly hazardous waste inspections.
• Adhere to EHS policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
