The candidate should have 1+ years in warehouse/logistics, forklift certification preferred, and experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for inventory tracking is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, inventory software).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify shipment contents against packing lists, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Label, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MRP systems.
• Work closely with purchasing, production, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Location: Houston, Texas

Reports To: Manufacturing Manager

Collaborates with: Purchasing, Production, Quality

Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm with overtime as necessary; sometimes required.

Primary Responsibility The Receiving Material Handler is responsible for unloading, inspecting, and accurately documenting incoming shipments of raw materials, components, and supplies. This role ensures that all received materials meet quality standards and are stored appropriately to support efficient production operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory control. Please note that this position is working 100% outside in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.

What You'll Do:
