Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven experience in a receiving or warehouse role within a distribution center or related industry.
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and standard receiving procedures.
• Leadership & Influence: Ability to manage a team and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Physical: Ability to lift and move heavy items in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the receiving team under the Receiving Supervisor to ensure accurate processing of shipments.
• Inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and PO compliance.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inventory control, and logistics teams to update records and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe receiving area and enforce safety protocols per OSHA.
• Train and mentor staff to improve performance and policy adherence.
• Drive dock efficiency by adjusting receiving sequence to prevent congestion.
