Job summary

You will collaborate with warehouse, inventory control, and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies, enforce safety standards, and drive process improvements while upholding company policies and quality controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a receiving or warehouse role within a distribution center or related industry.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and standard receiving procedures.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a team and influence stakeholders without direct report relationships.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items and work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the receiving team to ensure timely processing of incoming shipments; guide dock operations.
• Inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and PO compliance.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inventory control, and logistics to update records and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe, organized receiving area and enforce safety protocols (OSHA).
• Train and mentor receiving staff to improve performance and adherence to policies.
• Communicate with suppliers and carriers to facilitate smooth receiving operations.
• Generate and maintain accurate receiving reports and documentation for audits.
