Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling seeks a Receiving Lead to manage daily receiving operations at our Dyersburg facility. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate receipts, and coordinate dock activities with suppliers and internal teams.

You will verify quantities, inspect quality, and process ERP transactions while maintaining inventory integrity and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred in a related field.
• 3–5 years in receiving, warehouse, logistics, or related ops.
• Experience leading or coordinating a small team is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of receiving ops, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory mgmt software, preferably Syteline CSI.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to train and coach team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound material receipts and verify against POs and packing slips.
• Coordinate dock activities, unloading, and schedules with carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain inventory integrity and ensure timely ERP transactions.
• Inspect material quality, quantity, and packaging; address discrepancies.
• Train and onboard team members on processes and safety requirements.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S in receiving areas and housekeeping.
