Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling, LLC is seeking an experienced Receiving Lead in Dyersburg, TN to oversee inbound material receipts and coordinate dock activities. You will verify, stage, and process receipts, ensuring accuracy and timely availability for production and outbound shipments.

The role requires 3–5 years in receiving or related operations, strong leadership, and proficiency with ERP systems (Syteline CSI). A Safety-first mindset and hands-on approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in receiving, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading or coaching a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of receiving operations, inventory control, material flow, and warehouse best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment across all receiving dock and warehouse activities.
• Provide daily direction and support to receiving personnel for efficient workflow.
• Coordinate inbound shipments, unloading activities, and receiving schedules with carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading.
• Inspect incoming materials for quantity, quality, packaging, and compliance with company requirements.
• Process receipts in the ERP system and ensure accurate inventory transactions.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, shortages, overages, or damages with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support counting, audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Train and onboard team members on processes, safety, and ERP transactions.
• Maintain organized receiving areas and 5S compliant housekeeping.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Contribute to Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
