Job summary

Hireology is seeking an experienced Receiving Lead to oversee the receiving operations at a GM accessory distribution warehouse in the St. Louis, MO area.

The role requires hands-on leadership, accuracy in receiving, and strict adherence to inventory controls within NetSuiteWMS. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehouse receiving and 2+ years of supervisory experience, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in receiving.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Experience with NetSuiteWMS is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, and warehouse procedures.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory transactions, and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documentation.
• Strong computer skills; ability to learn NetSuite functionality.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Fast-paced distribution environment; manage competing priorities.
• Lift cartons up to 100 lbs continuously; safety awareness.
• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving operations: unloading, inspection, verification, and system receipt.
• Supervise, train, and motivate receiving personnel.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries with carriers and warehouse operations.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, purchase orders, and documents.
• Process receipts and maintain inventory transactions in NetSuiteWMS.
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Monitor receiving productivity, safety, and service levels.
• Prepare and communicate receiving and inventory performance reports.
