Job summary

Empire Today in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Receiving Lead (Distribution Center) to own the inbound receiving process, ensure 99%+ inventory accuracy, and coordinate put-away.

You will complete D365 training, handle OS&D, and work with shift supervisors and ops manager; occasional weekend shifts and physical duties are required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must complete D365 training and be fluent in D365 activities.
• Experience with warehouse processes including counting, picking, and loading.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Register, verify, receive, and put away inbound orders on receipt.
• Manage the D365 components of receiving, including PO work in the workspace.
• Create and process all steps of NEDC transfers and verify completion.
• Maintain filing and paperwork for PO-related documents.
• Resolve PO-related questions or issues with vendors and internal Empire personnel.
• Participate in Ops Manager monthly service calls addressing IW return trucks concerns.
• Assist with peak periods (Loading, Cycle counting, Replenishment) and comply with SOPs.
• Adhere to all safety policies and state/federal requirements.
