Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Receiving Supervisor for its Inbound Team and Fulfillment Center network. You will oversee daily receiving operations at the Dayton, NJ facility, ensuring accurate inspection, processing, and recording of shipments to maintain inventory accuracy and timely product availability.

The role reports to the Inbound Manager and requires leadership of a team, coordination with onsite leaders, and flexibility during peak periods to support business and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Fundamental understanding of inventory, supply chain and logistics concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily functions of the receiving team to ensure material is checked in and put away in a timely and accurate manner.
• Following up on discrepancies and inconsistencies with purchase orders.
• Recording and checking the quantity and quality of products received, ensuring the receiving area is clean, safe, and orderly.
• Leading shift start-up meetings and relaying staffing/volume concerns to the Inbound Manager.
• Assigning work to receiving associates and ensuring POs meet deadlines.
• Tracking performance and providing feedback and check-ins.
• Conducting monthly check-ins with team members to establish rapport.
