Job summary

Empire Today, LLC is seeking a Receiving Lead (Distribution Center) to manage inbound PO/TO receiving, put-away, and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse. You will drive D365-based receiving processes and coordinate with shift supervisors to ensure accurate, timely handling of shipments.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, forklift operation, and the ability to handle varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Management experience preferred.
• Computer skills (D365, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task; strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently; and ability to set priorities, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter, action-oriented, problem-resolution-focused approach.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends if necessary.
• Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other equipment as necessary.
• The position requires lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Register, verify, receive, and put away all inbound POs or other shipments on the day they are received.
• Monitor and manage the D365 components of receiving; ensure OS&D documentation is completed and archived.
• Ensure inbound inventory is put away in the correct bin locations and verified by on-hand data.
• Create and process all steps of NEDC transfers and verify completion.
• Maintain paperwork and be ready to provide PO-related documents on request.
• Resolve PO-related questions with vendors and Empire personnel.
• Participate in Ops Manager monthly service calls to address IW return truck concerns.
• Assist Shift Supervisor during peak periods and with loading, counting, replenishment.
• Adhere to all safety policies and SOPs; perform other duties as assigned.
