Job summary

Copeland in Forney, TX is seeking a Receiving Lead 2nd Shift to oversee shipping, receiving and inventory control. You will lead a team, ensure accuracy, and maintain safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requires a High School Diploma and five years of manufacturing experience, with forklift certification and Oracle proficiency. This onsite role offers opportunities to drive improvements and participate in Kaizen initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; five years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to learn, operate, and train others in the safe use of various material handling equipment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Capability to maneuver and transact within Oracle i.e. receipt entry, material transfers, eKanban, etc.
• Ability to communicate across multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily workload to facilitate accurate material movement.
• Direct materials/warehouse staff to meet production material needs while ensuring transactional integrity.
• Resolve supplier issues with Supply Chain Planning or Strategic Sourcing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen.
• Investigate inventory issues and drive to root cause.
• Maintain FIFO inventory rotation for applicable parts.
• Train personnel in warehousing, safety, Oracle, and scanning guns.
• Recertify fork truck and material handling vehicle operators.
