Job summary

Copeland LP is seeking a Receiving Lead for 2nd shift to oversee shipping, receiving, storing and issuing materials to manufacturing operations. You will maintain inventory records, lead a team, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will train staff, manage cycle counts, and collaborate with Supply Chain to resolve issues, driving continuous improvement and on-time material flow for production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; five years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to learn, operate, and train others in the safe use of material handling equipment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; proficient in Oracle and eKanban systems.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily workload for department to facilitate accurate material movement.
• Direct materials/warehouse personnel to meet production material needs while ensuring transactional integrity.
• Resolve supplier issues regarding production material via collaboration with Supply Chain Planning and/or Strategic Sourcing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen participation.
• Investigate Oracle and eKanban inventory and/or transaction issues while driving to root cause.
• Maintain FIFO inventory rotation for applicable parts.
• Train materials/warehouse personnel in warehousing, safety procedures, Oracle, and use of scanning guns.
• Recertify fork truck and material handling vehicle operators.
