Job summary

Steele Solutions is seeking a Receiving Lead for the 2nd shift in our paint operations. You will lead daily receiving activities, oversee inventory accuracy, and ensure safe, efficient material flow in a team-driven environment.

You will collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Shipping to ensure timely receipt, storage, and delivery of materials, while promoting continuous improvement and adherence to 5S and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of receiving, warehouse, inventory control, or material handling experience.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience required; certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP, warehouse management, or inventory systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills including data entry, email, and business system navigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily receiving activities to ensure operational goals are met.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to receiving team members.
• Assist with workload distribution and task prioritization.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a point of contact for receiving-related issues and problem resolution.
