Job summary

Steele Solutions seeks a Receiving Lead for the 2nd shift (Paint) to manage daily receiving operations, verify shipments, and ensure inventory accuracy while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will coach the receiving team, coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Shipping, and use ERP and inventory systems to keep materials flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in receiving or warehouse roles.
• Forklift experience with certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily receiving activities to meet operational goals.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to receiving team members.
• Assist with workload distribution and task prioritization.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a point of contact for receiving-related issues and problem resolution.
• Coordinate receipt of incoming materials and verify against POs and packing slips.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, quantity and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and storage locations; perform cycle counts.
